Hong Kong Travel Tips 1-10

In celebration of our 10th group of visitors in Hong Kong, here is a list of 10 travel tips I have noted down for the past 8.5 months. (It never occurred to me we had an average of 1.18 visiting group or 2.59 guests a month excluding those who just had airport stopovers!) 1. Most bathrooms share the same hallway as fire exits, so do not be scared to enter where the green and white signage points you to. 2. Skip the chaos and have lunch before or after most offices go on break at 1:00 pm but not later than 2:30 pm as some restaurants close at 3:00 pm and reopen at 6:00 pm. Also, reserve the more expensive restaurants for lunch rather than dinner as the menu tend to be even more expensive at night. 3. Get an Airport Express Travel Pass, a variant of the Octopus card that allows you to ride the MTR, Light Rail and MTR Bus for free for the next 3 days, in addition to a ride on …
